The Genuardi Family Foundation is no longer associated with Genuardi's Family Markets. The Foundation's policies and priorities for giving are its own, and do not reflect a current or prior relationship with Genuardi's Family Markets.

The Genuardi Family Foundation supports direct providers of services in the areas of Education, Health, Human Services, and Culture.

Eligibility Requirements
Recipients:

The Foundation only considers grant requests from organizations designated as tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Geographic Focus:
Preference will be given to non-profit organizations based in the Greater Philadelphia Area.

Eligible Activities:
The Foundation gives preference to projects which receive broad-based community support and provides for reasonable costs associated with conducting the proposed project or program. Grant proposals may include the allocation of a reasonable percentage of grant monies towards general support of the recipient organization. On a limited basis, the Foundation will also consider grants in support of capital campaigns for facilities or equipment, and organizational capacity building.

Exclusions
Although the Genuardi Family Foundation legacy is an outgrowth of the tradition of giving provided by Genuardi Family Markets, the Foundation's funding will not process grant requests from:
• Individuals
• Fraternal and/or civic organizations
