Dragonfly Forest,
with offices in Penn Valley, PA, is
committed to offering seriously ill children
the opportunity to enjoy an overnight camp experience, free of charge, in an environment that is safe, equipped to meet their physical and medical needs and filled with fun activities that allow each child opportunities for self-discovery that lead to an improved quality of life. They were funded to support the program, allowing children living with various diseases to attend camp in 2007.

George Washington Carver
Community Center,

located in Norristown, PA, provides youth and adults of the community with educational and recreational programs for the advancement and growth of the community. They were funded to support the Center’s programs, including the Homework Center (children receiving homework help from local College students and senior citizens); Kid’s Café (a once-weekly hot meal and educational or recreational program); and the Summer Pool/Summer Camp (provides a safe place for children throughout the summer months).

Montgomery Child Advocacy Project,
headquartered in Norristown, PA, is an organization designed to provide free legal representation and social services to children of Montgomery County who are victims of sexual and physical abuse and/or gross neglect. They were funded to support daily operations and services, strengthening its processes and procedures, educating current and new Advocate Attorneys, developing short-term and long-term goals and finances to ensure the project’s long-term stability.
